Introduction to Black Raven.
Black Raven
started by selling Viking and Celtic Pendants made of
Fine Pewter. These were purchased from small workshops
in the United Kingdom and were hand-made by craftsmen
who have a passion for their creations. One manufacturer
also supplied hand-made lamp-worked glass beads that
could be added to the thong of a pendant to make it look
more decorative.
I bought some
of the glass beads and also some wooden beads and
started adding them to the pendants. I then decided to make more
decorative jewellery and set about furnishing a workshop
in Cheshire, England with the necessary tools and
equipment to be able to produce beaded jewellery in
small quantities.
May 2011 saw
the launch of the full Black Raven ranges of jewellery
with 50 different products available, we now have over 80 different products in our catalogue.
The ranges are
Celtic, Viking, Jewellery, Gothic, Gifts and Sparkle, examples
of which you can see on this web-site.
All pieces are
hand assembled in the Cheshire Workshop and every part
is purchased in the UK, although not all components are made in the UK.
